Let's discuss why this is so.

First, a lot of dietary supplements (which, of course, includes multvitamins) on the market do not contain what it says on their product label -- or, even more shocking, are often contaminanted.

It's hard to believe, but it's true. Both private companies like consumerlabs.com, and government agencies have shown this to sadly be the case.

Most people think that if they just stick to a brand name it will ensure they get a quality complete mult vitamin.

However, this isn't the case, as it turns out that some of the most well known brand names were among the worst offenders when it came to containing what's stated on the product label.

Another reason why it's hard to find quality complete multivitamins is because many manufacturers use cheap ingredients. There are vast differences between the effectiveness of products just based on the quality of the ingredients.
